Roaming Calls (calls placed when traveling outside of the country)
Roaming is a premium service offered by Digicel, allowing its customers to make and receive calls as well as send and receive SMS messages while outside their home network. Although it is not inexpensive, but it can be convenient if you cross into another country for a weekend. This way you don't have to buy a new SIM card for just 2 days in a new country. Be sure to purchase any airtime PRIOR to leaving Antigua & Barbuda, airtime vouchers will not be available while abroad.

To add airtime to your Digicel SIM card you will need to purchase airtime vouchers, known as Flexcards, which you will find available at most convenient stores, tabac shops and petrol stations, conveniently located throughout Antigua & Barbuda. The vouchers are available at face value in denominations of 10 EC, 15 EC, 25 EC, 40 EC and 70 EC.
To credit your prepaid SIM card with the airtime voucher simply dial *121*vouchernumber# [SEND] from your Antigua & Barbuda cell phone.
The account balance can be checked at any time by dialing *120# [SEND]. |
